Fund EcoMarket use January to June 2023

Fund EcoMarket usage 1/1/2023 – 30/6/2023

The following indicates usage of our Fund EcoMarket fund database for Q1 & Q2 2023.

GA4 indicates that our Fund EcoMarket.co.uk site had 71,000 ‘events’ during that period.  The following were the top 100 filter searches on the database in the first half of 2023.

Points of note:

The ‘SRI Styles’ (our fund classification system) feature regularly in this list as usual – indicating the enduring usefulness of being able to understand broadly what funds are set up to do.

• The most common SRI Styles searches are: Sustainable Theme/Focus, Ethical and Environmental Theme/Focus.
• The most commonly searched individual ‘issue’, once again, was ‘Avoids coal, oil and gas majors’, closely followed by Armaments and then Tobacco avoidance.

This information is indicative and is unavoidably not able to be precise this time for the following reasons:

• • • we are currently running two versions of our database (on the new SRI Services site and on the ‘old’ Fund EcoMarket site.)
      • This information has been collected from the old site only, so these will be an  underestimate of usage and filter results may differ.
      • We are currently in the process of setting up tracking for the new site, and will switch to that data as soon as possible.
    • The Google Analytics tracking system has changed.  Google switched to GA4 on 1 July –  which collects and reports information differently.  We need to investigate further whether or not this will impact our reports.
