Funds & Fund Management

The Dialshifter badge will be available for funds (and later also investment institutions) that meet the Dialshifter requirements set out, the aim of which are to support, encourage and/or facilitate the shift towards sustainable business practices and lifestyles.

Our fund qualification requirements aim to help differentiate between funds that are and are not helping to address environmental challenges such as climate change.  Only funds that have explicit and publicly available climate change related strategies – which we believe are applied responsibly and in the spirit of helping to shift the dial – will be considered.

The list is our minimum criteria; in most cases we expect funds to significantly exceed these ‘baseline’ requirements.  These requirements will be consulted on and improved from time to time – with the expectation of raising standards.

Dialshifter Minimum Requirements for all Funds are:

All relevant funds can apply.  Please do get in touch if you believe your fund should be considered but feel it may not meet the precise criteria outlined above – contact: funds@fundecomarket.co.uk.

    Dialshifter qualification criteria

To qualify for use of the Dialshifter badge, funds must meet all or almost all of the following criteria (as there may be situations where N/A is an appropriate response.) Most of this will have been supplied as part of your Fund EcoMarket submission but if you are welcome to use this form. Please ensure you complete the additional text boxes below if this information has already not been sent by email to funds@sriServices.co.uk .

In order to be approved as a 'Dialshifter', funds must provide evidence of each of these criteria - or explain if any are not directly applicable. All responses must be verifiable, consistent with the intention of 'shifting the dial from brown to green' and able to be explained to clients. Funds will also have to fulfil additional (more specific) goals based on the main ways in which funds can help ‘shift the dial’.

Describe in under 100 words what your company is doing to reduce emmisions and address climate risk.

Maximum 100 words. (This will subject to verification but can be amended if required.)

We will use the information you have supplied for publication on www.FundEcoMarket.co.uk to help verify your Dialshifter status. You may attach additional information here if required (not for publication).
