What is SDR and what does it mean for fund managers and intermediaries?
The Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR) and labelling rules have introduced a range of new measures to improve client understanding and improve trust. This session will explore the component parts of the new rules, focusing on what fund managers now have to do differently. We will also be considering areas that are still ‘work in progress’, and what this all means for fund pickers and advisers.

What problems does it aim to address and why does it matter?
Much has changed since SDR was published in November 2023, but in order to make sense of the new rules it is important to understand how they came about and what SDR is designed to do. This session will explore key areas including the need to communicate effectively and avoid greenwash, and why focusing on intentionality and positive outcomes are central to the new regime.
